Bluetooth opened the floodgates allowing the introduction and licensing of many completely new ways of wireless WI FI and internet connections.
Just 10 years ago things changed for the better across the board, the FCC allowing everything from basic handheld wireless radios from CB to Bluetooth telephones.
Everything was changed when the FCC allowed restriction to be lifted in every area of wireless communications.
Now it was only up to engineers to dream up new ways of using the FCC's open ended licensing.
Beaming is one of the great advances, all though it has been around for well over 65 years.
As a Ham radio operator for over 40 years I have used beaming to communicate around the world well before cell phones and the internet.
